Learn professional decision-making skills and apply them to real-world problems. Building on a foundation of core classes, you will deepen your expertise in specific fields of study such as production, market, trade, policy, resource and environmental economics.

International Food Business

B.Agr

This exciting聽double degree聽offers a year of international study and two work terms: one in North America and one in Europe. Years one and three are offered at Dal's Faculty of Agriculture at the聽Agricultural Campus in Truro, NS,聽with year two offered in The Netherlands. Students complete year four at their home university.聽Upon graduation students receive two degrees, a Bachelor of Agriculture in International Food Business from AV俱乐部 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Aeres University of Applied Sciences of the Netherlands.

Diploma in Technology Business Management

The two-year聽Diploma in Technology Business Management allows you to specialize in one of two areas:聽 dairy farming or agriculture. You will receive a well-rounded business education with a focus on the specialty you choose so you鈥檒l have mobility and flexibility in your career.

Certificate in Sustainable Development

This certificate program is designed for senior undergraduate university students or graduate students who are interested in the research and practices in sustainable development. Building on the context of industrialization and globalization, as well as its related environmental and social problems, this program particularly focuses on viable business strategies, community development, and economic development policies at national and regional levels.聽

Graduate program

Master of Science

A diverse department providing opportunities to take courses in a broad range of disciplines including psychology, sociology, English, history, business and economics. Consider how culture, politics and literature influence and inform rural life and economy.聽 Participate in projects that promote the well-being of rural citizens and the viability of the food industry in Canada.
