The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) announced today that it has awarded nearly $500,000 to AV俱乐部鈥檚 Faculty of Agriculture through its Leaders Opportunity Fund in support of a variety of projects including marine bio-products research, insect management, greenhouse gas emissions and more.

Working in a team environment, the successful candidates will contribute to a pan-Canadian study focussing on a range of policy and land-use planning issues as they pertain to farmland preservation, food sovereignty, and global competiveness of the agri-food sector.
