The Senate Subcommittee on Fisheries and Oceans is conducting a national tour investigating the current status of the aquaculture industry in Canada.

This anti-littering initiative brought the Dal Faculty of Agriculture students---who hailed from four continents, Africa, Asia, North America and Europe--together with several rural volunteers & groups in the East River Valley of Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

The AFW course intends to provide learners opportunities to develop their understanding and skills in criticality, synthesizing, and systems thinking as they examine intersecting local, regional and global issues in agriculture, food, and wellbeing.
