Master of Science in Nursing

What is the difference between the MN Professional Stream and the Master of Science in Nursing Program?听 Our Master of Science in Nursing program听 is a research-based program which prepares students to be leaders in professional nursing and education, and it provides a solid foundation for doctoral studies.听 Our 27-credit hour program is comprised of 5 courses plus a thesis. Students engage in the strategic research foci of the School of Nursing: health needs of people, marginalized populations and health equity, knowledge translation, and health systems and health workforce planning and impact.
How long is the Master of Science in Nursing Program?

A full-time MScN student will complete the MScN program in 2 years.听 A part-time student will complete the program in 4 years. Full-time students in the MScN program usually complete three courses per term. Part-time students in the MScN program usually complete 1-2 courses per term.
