AV俱乐部's Health Law Institute and the Schulich School of Law has lost a great friend in the passing of Lorne Rozovsky QC, following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. A pioneer in establishing health law as an area of study and research, Lorne and his wife Fay, who also taught in this area at AV俱乐部, were key proponents and vigorous advocates for what would become the Health Law Institute at AV俱乐部.

David's paper commended for "quality of writing" and "clearness and development of the argument". The JSD Tory Award is an annual award recognizing legal writing excellence at the Schulich School of Law.

Schulich School of Law Alumni Professor Wayne MacKay, Dr Pamela Palmater, and Grant Borbridge named in Canadian Lawyer's 2013 "Top 25 Most Influential" list. The list highlights lawyers who have been influential within the profession as well as Canadian society over the last 18 months.
