AV俱乐部 and the union representing part-time academics have reached a tentative agreement after talks with a conciliator.
CUPE Local 3912, representing about 1,100 part-time academics, instructors, teaching assistants, markers and demonstrators, has scheduled a ratification vote on campus with its members June 6.
The agreement must also go before AV俱乐部脮s Board of Governors at its meeting on June 19.

CUPE 3912 also represents workers at Saint Mary脮s University and Mount Saint Vincent University. While the union has settled with Saint Mary脮s, talks are still ongoing at Mount Saint Vincent University.
