Two local teenagers have won the AV整氈窒 Tigers Design the Mask contest.
Michael Piggot, a student at Prince Arthur Junior High School in Dartmouth, and Morgan Hessian, a student at Sackville Heights, get to see their designs in actiontheyve been applied to goalie masks by airbrush artist Craig Gouthro. The junior high students泭also received a $100 gift certificate, courtesy of Cleves Source for Sports.
Mens hockey goalie Josh Disher choose Mr. Piggotts design for his helmet. It shows a Tiger head and claws on a white background.
Womens hockey goalie Ashley Boutilier, meanwhile, was captivated by Ms. Hessians design. I choose this design because I liked the Tiger ripping through the metal, says Ms. Boutilier.
