The Carol Sing, a much-loved Dal holiday tradition, returned this week after a two-year hiatus — delivering a big dose of festive cheer and yummy treats as yet another eventful year on campus draws to a close.

Attendees joined together in chorus Tuesday in the Sculpture Court of the AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ Arts Centre to sing classics from the Christmas songbook such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer "and "Silent Night" as well as Hanukkah fave "The Dreidel Song." Talented students and faculty members from the Fountain School of Performing Arts led the renditions. Trevor Gould from Eastern Eagle drum group sang the Mi'kmaq Honour Song.

The event also provided outgoing AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ President Deep Saini with one final to visit with members of the AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ community and celebrate shared achievements from the past three years. Dal Board Chair Cheryl Fraser was also on hand to thank Dr. Saini for his service.
