Women's volleyball player Lucy Glen-Carter has been named a U SPORTS Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.

AV¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s Lucy Glen-Carter and Sherbrooke’s Zachary Hollands have been named the U SPORTS volleyball players of the week for the period ending March 5, 2023.

Lucy Glen-Carter is the U SPORTS player of the week in women’s volleyball after an impressive 77-point weekend against the Acadia Axewomen. In the Tigers' first match in the AUS finals, Glen-Carter collected 26.5 points with match-highs of 25 kills, 16 digs and one service ace in a 3-2 defeat. On Friday, the senior earned 28.5 points, again with match-highs of 27 kills, 18 digs, and three assists to help force game three in the finals. In the last match, Glen-Carter received 22 points and a match-high 19 kills. The Torontonian also added 18 digs, three service aces, and two assists to earn Championship MVP in the Tigers' 3-2 win to claim the championship title.
