Children took centre stage 鈥� or centre quad 鈥� on Wednesday at AV俱乐部's 14th annual Mawio'mi.聽

First held in 2009, the Mawio'mi has become a signature event in the university's Mi'kmaw History Month celebrations each October. The event features Mi'kmaw dance, craft, food and culture and brings Indigenous and non-Indigenous folks together for a full day of sharing, learning, and festivities.聽

AV俱乐部 photographer Nick Pearce was on hand to capture some of the sights at this year's celebration.聽
