POSITION: Part-time Academic, MARA 5015.03, Marine Transportation Policy and Administration
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Faculty of Management, Marine Affairs Program
PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The successful applicant will be teaching the Winter Term of MARA 5015 Marine Transportation Policy and Administration in the Marine Affairs Program. This graduate level half credit course will be conducted in the Winter Term of the 2012-2013 Academic year (January to April 2013).
The successful applicant is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class including planning and directing classroom-based activities, marking assignments and providing tutorial support to the students as required during the winter term.
The successful applicant reports to the Director of the Marine Affairs Program.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Candidates shall, as a minimum, possess a Master’s degree in a marine related field and shall have at least three years experience in teaching at a university level, maritime administration and marine transportation policy (Canadian and international).
