Dal showed its stripes at the 2013 Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon this weekend.
In addition to the many members of the Dal community who took part in the various races, the university also sponsored a water station on the race route, bringing some Black and Gold spirit to the Blue Nose.
With the alumni association banner flying in the cool wind — not to mention the Tiger in tow — staff, alumni and volunteers of all stripes handed out water and Gatorade to the almost 2,500 runners who took part in the half and full marathons. The station was located on Rosemeade Avenue in Halifax's north end.
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped — and congrats to all those who took part in the marathon itself!
