Subject:ÌýÌýÌý Industry Liaison and Innovation Office Online Survey
Ìý
As part of best management practices, the VP Research Office conducts periodic reviews of the various units within Research Services. This fits very well with a stated priority in the Institutional Framework for the Support of Research document to strengthen procedural services which support research.
Ìý
The external environment around industry participation in research, development and technology transfer is constantly evolving.Ìý The Industry Liaison and Innovation (ILI) Office at AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ has been adapting its activities in response to these changes. Ìý
Ìý
With the full participation and support of Stephen Hartlen AVP and Executive Director ILI, the VP Research has invited external consultants from similar positions at other leading research institutions to conduct a review and provide recommendations on current operations and future challenges for ILI.
Ìý
To assist in this process we are requesting that the research community complete the brief 5- question online survey about ILI by March 2, 2014. Even if you have had little or no interaction with ILI, we would appreciate your response to some of the questions as it may help direct future activities or services.
Ìý
If you feel there are other comments that you would like to contribute that are not covered by the survey questions, then you may forward them to me separately by e-mail john.newhook@dal.ca or deliver to my attention Suite 200, Henry Hicks Administration Building (please indicate confidential on the correspondence if you wish your name withheld from the external reviewers and ILI personnel).
