JOB SUMMARY: The instructor’s duties involve full responsibility for the course: lecture to students, hold office hours, develop course outline, prepare and grade assignments, tests and exams. Further information on the class can be obtained from the Department.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Ph.D. (Philosophy); specialization in the subject matter of the course; and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Specialization will be determined on the basis of teaching experience and/or research experience. Teaching experience shall be in upper level classes (third and fourth year) dealing with this subject matter. Research experience shall include either a completed PhD dissertation, or substantial publications in recognized journals, both squarely in the subject matter of the course.
