Alumni Crescent will be closed for approximately 2-3 hours (6:30-9:30 AM) on Saturday morning, June 28th, weather permitting, for construction activity related to the Life Sciences Roofing Project. This is required to accommodate a crane that will be hoisting materials onto the roof of the LSC. If weather conditions are not conducive for hoisting on Saturday, then it is planned to take place the following day, on Sunday morning, at the same time.
Ìý
This closure will prevent access to parking lots and building entrances along Alumni Crescent for the duration. There will also be concurrent activity on Saturday morning requiring a closure of the parking lot at the end of Lord AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ Drive by the Biology building.
Ìý
Barriers will be removed immediately once hoisting work is complete and normal access will resume. Alternative parking should be used in the interim.
Ìý
For questions about street access and parking options, please speak with Leigh Horne, at Security Services, 402-9412.
Ìý
If you need to address issues during the street closure, please contact the contractor, Johnson Controls’, on-site Project Manager, Ray Egginton at 209-5236.
