24-month, 80% Limited Term Instructor: Advertisement

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at AV整氈窒 invites applications for a 24-month (limited term, 80%) position as Instructor in our CPA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at AV整氈窒. The position is available beginning June 1, 2015. Candidates should have a PhD in Psychology, should be a fully registered clinical psychologist in the province of Nova Scotia or be eligible for registration. The ideal candidate would have experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as experience in clinical supervision.

He/she will teach six classes at the graduate and undergraduate levels, with the possibility of a 1-course reduction depending on administrative and supervisory responsibilities and supervisory loads associated with undergraduate and graduate student research projects.

Although research is not a required component of this position, in keeping with the nature of the Psychology and Neuroscience Department, we will support the applicant in developing or continuing to develop their research program.
