How best to structure interdisciplinary primary care teams: A systematic review
Description
The systematic review will synthesize academic and grey literature that speaks to the extent to which team structures contribute to team processes, team processes contribute to primary care goals, and team structures contribute to primary care goals. The synthesis will be packaged in traditional academic format, and also as an electronic interactive decision-aid tool.
Responsibilities
The RA will be involved in the conduct of a systematic review of academic and grey literature. The RA will be involved in the selection of studies for review using defined selection criteria, and in the synthesis of the studies to produce a decision-aid tool.
The RA is expected to familiarize themselves with the research programme prior to starting the position (). As a part of the position, the RA will have the following responsibilities:
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a graduate level degree, or be in the final stages of completing a graduate level degree, and have demonstrated experience with the analysis and synthesis of academic and/or grey literature. Preference will be given to those with a demonstrated health related research focus, but other research backgrounds will also be considered. Previous involvement in the conduct of systematic reviews will be an asset.
The RA will have flexibility in terms of task assignment. The RA must be willing to work to deadlines, with the expectations that at time, this might mean working outside of standard work hours. The ideal candidate will commit to the project and project outcomes. The first month of the position is probationary.
