Researchers at the Canadian Center for Vaccinology in the IWK Health Centre are looking for healthy participants aged 18-64 to take part in their flu studies this fall. CCfV is a participating site in two national clinical trials for a new virus-like particle (VLP) influenza vaccine developed by Medicago. These flu trials will see 250 participants enrolled at CCfV in early October.
Participants will have at least one scheduled visit at the study site and receive follow-up phone calls from the study site after receiving the vaccination over approximately an eight to ten month period.  The total time commitment is approximately eight to ten hours. Participants will be compensated for their time and for out-of-pocket expenses, such as parking at the IWK Health Centre.
For more information, or to enroll in this study, please contact our study Coordinator, Jill Mutch.
