We are recruiting participants to take part in a research study using a new digital health-based platform to help the public in assessing, monitoring and managing their personalized risks for multiple chronic diseases and cancers. All you need to do is complete a set of easy-to-do tasks using the digital platform, enter hypothetical health data (which will be provided to you) and answer a post-study questionnaire. The questionnaire includes questions on your perceptions and behavioural intention towards using the health platform, in addition to some open-ended questions which will help us in identifying areas of improvement.
The study will be conducted in one of the meeting rooms, located in the Goldberg Computer Science building. You will first meet with the researcher to go over the study details and give consent to participate. The study will take around 30 minutes to complete.Â
Any person who has an intermediate level of English fluency (i.e. reading and understanding a simple newspaper article and the ability to take part in extended casual conversations) and is not visually impaired is welcome to participate in the study.Â
If you are interested in participating, please contact Ali Daowd at (ali.daowd@dal.ca).
