All instructors report to the Director of the School. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, active learning class sessions, assignment preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. Course syllabi are available upon request.
1.   Work Assignment: INFO 5590 – Information Management Systems
The sessional instructor will teach the core Information Management Systems course (INFO 5590) in the Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) program during the 2019 Winter term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, January to April 2019.
Requirements of the Position: MLIS or MIS degree (or similar) and significant employment or research experience in information systems. Prior graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
2.   Work Assignment: INFO 6540 – Data Management
The sessional instructor will teach the core Data Management course (INFO 6540) in the Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) program in the 2019 Winter term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, January to December 2019.
Requirements of the Position: MLIS degree (or similar) and significant employment or research experience in data management. Prior graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
