DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:Â Plant, Food and Environmental Sciences Department, Agricultural Campus, Truro
PAY RATE:Â Â As per CUPE collective agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT:Â The assistant will help with all aspects of the AGRI 1000 laboratory.
This is a part-time position with a range of weekly hours
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Lab preparation, in-lab demonstration duties, office duties (weekly meetings to plan work schedule and activities), marking, grading and invigilating
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITIONS:
The person must have completed a science degree OR be a third or fourth year science degree student in good standing.  Successful completion of the Agricultural Ecosystems course is required.  They must have a valid class 5 Nova Scotia driver’s license.
