What's Still AvailableÌýÌý
Distance appointments with doctors, nurses, counsellors and the social worker are available.
Students are able to book distance appointments with members of the Student Health & Wellness Centre healthcare team, including same-day counsellors, doctors, nurses and our social worker.ÌýCommunity patients are able to book distance appointments with their family doctors – these appointments will take place by phone unless an in-person appointment is required, determined by the physician.
How you book an appointment at the Student Health & Wellness Centre remains the same.ÌýStudents and registered community patients can book an appointmentÌýonline or by phoning 902-494-2171.Ìý
What's ChangedÌýÌý
The Student Health & Wellness Centre remains open but isÌýno longer accepting walk-in appointments. To ensure that COVID-19 screening takes place, patients who enter the Centre must have a confirmed appointment time. If you do not have an appointment and wish to be seen, you must call 902-494-2171 BEFORE entering the Centre.
To reduce the demand and patient volumes, the Centre has reduced the scope of service being provided at this time and haveÌýsuspended in-person appointment bookings for non-essential physician and nursing services. Sick notes and form completions will not be provided at this time.
