¶Ù²¹±ô³ó´Ç³Ü²õ¾±±ð’s 2020 United Way fundraising campaign started this week. This year's campaign might look a little different, but the one thing that hasn't changed is the impact we can create together by supporting United Way. Our help is needed more than ever and we're aiming to raise $110,000 this year for our communities in Halifax, Truro, and Saint John.
Right now families and individuals in our neighbourhoods are facing huge obstacles such as a lack of stable housing, limited access to technology, and food insecurity. For many, the pandemic has only magnified these challenges. When you donate to the United Way Community Fund in your region, you are powering a , providing safe shelter, crucial connection, and nutritious meals to those who need it most.
Every donation counts, and the impact of your donation is multiplied by the generosity of your fellow AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ employees. That's the power of choosing United Way.
Donations can be made online to limit the handling of cash and paper pledge forms. Through the online platform, you can make a secure donation via payroll deduction or credit card (monthly or one-time).
Let's show our local love and make this year's United Way campaign the most impactful yet. Stay tuned for an announcement about this year's online 50/50 draw.
If you have any questions about our United Way campaign, please get in touch with Christina MacNeil (christina.macneil@dal.ca) and Chloe Westlake (chloe.westlake@dal.ca), your campaign coordinators.
Thank you in advance for your support!
