Four Seasons of ReconciliationÌýis an online course that provides comprehensive and decolonialized education in a multi-media format in line with theÌýÌý94Ìý.ÌýÌý
The course was developed byÌý, an e-learning producer of online resources, and theÌýÌýfor workplaces and the education sector. An Indigenous Advisory Circle, comprised of Elders, Knowledge Keepers, educators, and members of the First Nations University of Canada, was consulted on the creation of the course.
As part of AV¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s ongoing commitment to reconciliation, this course is available to all AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ faculty, staff, and administration through the AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ Libraries.ÌýThe asynchronous course consists of ten modules, takes 3.5-4 hours in total (approximately 20 minutes per module), and does not have to be completed in one sitting.ÌýThis year, the course is funded by the Faculty of Engineering; responsibility for funding the course will be shared across different faculties and units in future years.
