Human Gene Editing: At the Cutting Edge

RSC-Atlantic Symposium on the science of gene editing and its social, cultural, economic, and ethical implications.

Join experts from AV整氈窒 and abroad for an RSC-Atlantic Symposium on the science of gene editing and its social, cultural, economic, and ethical implications. Each presentation will be followed by a question period and general discussion.

Topics for discussion:

  • how gene editing technologies can assist in understanding how life on this planet works, giving new possibilities for treating and preventing diseases;
  • the regarding ;
  • the imagined future(s) that this science makes possible; and,
  • some of the ethical concerns regarding the potential modification of the human species.
