Along with gaining a general knowledge of microbiology and immunology, we also have four areas of specialization - bacteriology and microbial pathogenesis, cancer, immunology and inflammation, virology – so you can concentrate your studies in specific areas. Ìý

You will carry out independent research leading to a significant advance of knowledge in your area of study usually leading to 2-3 lead-author publications in highly respected journals. Ìý
Close collaborations and joint ventures between Microbiology and Immunology and clinical departments such as , , and as well as the have enhanced the development of several successful multidisciplinary research teams in areas such as cancer cell biology, vaccinology, transplantation, immunity and inflammation.
