GenA.I. in Teaching and Learning


Higher education has been abuzz with world like ChatGPT, machine learning, and large language models. So, what is artificial intelligence, or A.I., and what are the implications for these technologies for faculty who teach and students who learn at AV整氈窒?

In this resource, you will find information you need to understand the basics of these technologies, talk with your students about artificial intelligence, and design assessments with A.I. in mind. One thing to keep in mind is that AV整氈窒 does not currently have an A.I. tool that's been through a Privacy Impact Assessment. Therefore, while you and students may choose to use it, instructors can't make A.I. a required part of their courses.
