Dr. Stephanie Jones

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax (supervisor: Dr. Daniel Legace-Seguin), my research interests in sensation and perception led me to a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology at the University of New Brunswick (supervisor: Dr. Alexander E. Wilson). I then went on to complete my PhD in Psychology: Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science at York University in Toronto (supervisor: Dr. Denise Henriques). I am happy to find myself back in Halifax, conducting my post-doctoral research at AV¾ãÀÖ²¿.

My current research in the Cognitive Health and Recovery Research Laboratory (supervisor: Dr. Gail Eskes) focuses on measuring attentional abilities in healthy adults across the lifespan, an important precursor to identifying deficits in attention in those affected by stroke and Parkinson’s Disease.
