Student Life
One of the major assets of our planning programs is the rich, collegial student life.
Student Organizations
Student organizations泭are active, having a role in governing their own academic, social, and recreational activities, but also participating in the governance of the School of Planning, the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, and the AV整氈窒 Senate.
Community Involvement
To best understand their future泭roles as planners,泭students are encouraged to become involved in the local and professional community through the泭internship program for BCD Honours students,泭and the泭co-op work term for Master of Planning students.泭The Master of Planning students have also also initiated a mentorship program in co-operation with local professional planners.
Professional Groups
Students within the School of Planning are also active in the泭; its regional affiliate, the泭; and the泭. Students have a seat on the API Council, and are eligible to run for election to the CIP Council.
School of Planning students have been very active in the泭, which holds annual conferences that engage with students and professionals through presentations of research and project work.
