The 2021 virtual Snowball celebrated student success after what has been a different year for everyone

Without the support of her supervisors, Master of Electronic Commerce student Tahajjat Begum feels that she would not have had the confidence to achieve everything she has during her time at AV俱乐部, including winning the Statistics Canada Business Data Scientist Challenge.

Using AI and machine learning to mimic the behaviour of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, a team of researchers from the Institute for Big Data Analytics at AV俱乐部 were recently named as runners up in 2020鈥檚 largest international AI soccer simulation competition, RoboCup Japan Open.
