Bio
Emily Balkam received a BA with honours in psychology from Acadia University in 2004 and an MSc in speech-language pathology from AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ in 2007. Since graduating from AV¾ãÀÖ²¿, she has worked as a speech-language pathologist in Halifax and other communities throughout Nova Scotia, as well as in San Diego, California. As the clinical coordinator, she is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the clinical education component of the SCSD speech-language pathology program.
