Law Hour: The History and Future of Mi鈥檏maw Public Health
Law Hour and the Health Law Students' Association are pleased to welcome (LLB '08) back to his alma mater for his talk "The History and Future of Mi鈥檏maw Public Health."
Googoo will draw on his personal experience and professional background in health policy, as well as economic development research, to speak about social determinants of health and the impact of colonial policies on the health of Mi鈥檏maw communities.
He will also discuss plans for a new health organization that will lead health transformation for Mi鈥檏maw communities in Nova Scotia.
