Although amounts vary each year based on the number of students accepted, base amounts are approximately $5,000 for 1st year MSc students and $2,500 for 2nd year MSc students and 1st and 2nd year PhD students. In providing support, the department recognizes the unique financial constraints that are often experienced by Indigenous and Black Nova Scotians, and International students.
