We encourage, support and conduct research to advance听knowledge听and enhance discourse on issues that impact the agri-food and aquaculture industries, as well as the well-being of rural society at large.

Professors in the Department of Business and Social Science are involved in diverse research projects, studying a range of topics including听enhancing food security, assessing the viability of wind energy, promoting the use of cooperatives and using wool听as insulation material.
